Comments:

Hi, In one of the projects I saw we are using Tomcat 7.0.5 , I went on the http://tomcat.apache.org/ and clicked on the archives to download the old version , I see there is no download link (http://archive.apache.org/dist/tomcat/tomcat-7/) for 7.0.5 but I did not see any link which said 7.0.5 but I found one saying v7.0.5-beta but in release notes I didn't find beta word. So I am curios if 7.0.5 was availed on GA any time? Or 7.0.5 was always beta. If its beta we may need to switch to newer version. Thank you. Arpan

The change to JMX MBeans is a HUGE problem !!! There are many vendors out there who have products accessing MBeans and assumin g a certain structure ! You cannot just go change the structure. The Manager MBean changed the name of the webapp from "path" to "context" Now it is more difficult to support both 6 and 7 Can you revert this, or make it upward compatible somehow ?

Hi mate's I have been using tomcat 7 but whenever I reboot the machine , the server fails to startup in myeclipse.. Its showing JVM bind exception and I tried to clear the error by changing the port number but it's no use. Again if I uninstall it and re install newly means its working fine in myeclipse, I have saw lots of blogs but still my issue is not sorted out. I have to reinstall my tomcat again and again whenever I restart my machine to make it work in myeclipse. I dont know whether its myeclipse problem or tomcat problem or system problem.. Please help me out.

I didn't see a response to Arpan. There is still has the Tomcat 7.0.53 download at the Tomcat 7 download page that you referenced above. Where would I get the download for the 7.0.6 version?
